Panelist: Discussion organised by the Apparel Export Promotion Council
Dr. Rudrani Bhattacharya, Associate Professor, NIPFP was invited as a panelist for a discussion organised by the Apparel Export Promotion Council at the Apparel House, Gurugram on 31.7.2024 with the objective to discuss, examine and brainstorm upon the deliberations of the Union Budget 2024-25 on the Indian textiles and apparel manufacturing and export industry for a possible roadmap to achieve the apparel export target of USD40 billion by 2030.
Professor Ram Singh (IIFT); Mr. Paththsarathi Jha (Competition Law and Policy; International Trade & Customs, Economic Law and Practice); Ms. Shweta Walencha (Director, Indirect Tax Practice, Lakshmikumaran & Shridharan); Dr Sangeeta Ghosh (Assistant Professor, Institute for Studies in Industrial Development); Mr. Piyush Ranjan (Senior Director, Sales and Partnerships, Stenn Technologies, India); Mr. Karanjot Singh (Lakshmikumaran & Shridharan), and Mr. Paritosh Chauhan (Lakshmikumaran & Shridharan) were the other eminent panelists.
